Demons

Demons are fallen angels under the command of Satan, those who are still free after the Gen. 6 affair. Satan is called the Prince, or Ruler, of all demons in Matthew 9:34; 12:24; Mark 3:22; Luke 11:15. Demons are also called the ministers, or ambassadors of Satan, Luke 4:35; 9:1,42; John 10:21. Satan is brilliant, an administrative genius. He has an excellent organization, mentioned in Eph. 6:10-12.

A demon is a being that may be conjured and controlled, and despite being typically associated with evil, are often shown to be under divine control, and not acting of their own devices. Demons can be specifically allotted to an Angel by a God or Goddess for the purpose of performing evil. Some Angels, despite their malevolent disposition, is considered a necessity, and therefore are of divine origin, thus they are allowed to reside in the Heavens.

Classes/Ranks

  • First Hierarchy

    • Devil- The word Devil is not derived from the root evil as some may think, but is actually from the Greek word "diabolos" meaning "enemy", "adversary", and "prosecutor". Webster's Dictionary defines the word Devil to be: 1. The supreme evil spirit.

    • Prince- Prince is a general term for a ruler, monarch, or member of a monarch's or former monarch's family, and it is a hereditary title in the nobility of some European states. The feminine equivalent is Princess. In Hell, there are said to be 72 different Princes who each rule over a different sin or aspect of darkness or a part of Hell.

These princes may be principal rulers, authorities, and/or world rulers. Satan commands (with God’s authorization and permission) the entire organization of evil spirits around the world, which is why he is called “...the ruler of the kingdom of the air...” (Eph. 2:2b) and the “...prince of this world...” (John 16:11).

    • Ministers- A minister is a being who holds significant office in the ranks of Hell, making and implementing decisions on policies in conjunction with other ministers and Satan. Some ministers hold more power than others, and can be members of Satan's army or 'royal committee'.

  • Second Hierarchy

    • Ambassadors- An ambassador is an official envoy, especially a high ranking diplomat who represents Satan and is usually appointed to a country, or to an international organization as the resident representative of their own 'government'. They're appointed for a special and often temporary diplomatic assignment.

These beings are the 'spokesmen' for Hell and Satan and are often sent to do deals and contracts with humans or other beings who require demonic services.

    • Justices- Justice is a concept of moral rightness based ethics, rationality, law, natural law, religion, equity and fairness, as well as the administration of the law, taking into account the rights of individuals.

Justices often pass down judgments and carry out sentences among other demons. They are merciless and cruel beings whose sole purpose is to judge and punish.

  • Third Hierarchy

    • Trivial Spirits- These humanoid creatures walk upright like a man, and can speak and think on their own, but also have characteristics of beasts.

These creatures are often the ones famous for causing turmoil among humans and tormenting souls until they give in and are dragged into hell or open themselves up to becoming a Legion.

    • Beasts- These creatures take the shape of beasts (animals). They're loyal to their masters and are often used as messengers and guardians of the Gates of Hell. Others are used to drag souls to hell.

One specific best well known in the Human world is Hel''s Black Dog who often foretells death and chaos.

    • Abominations- These creatures are hideous and take on a form that is not even that of a beast. They're dumb, but very powerful and loyal. Often times, these creatures are very large and slow, but their powers have been things of legends; Telling of powerful attacks from an Abomination that has leveled entire cities and sent neighboring cities into chaos.

  • No Hierarchy

    • Cambion- These creatures are the child of a human mother and Incubus or a Succubus mother and human father. They're half demon half human. Demons look down on them in hell and abuse them. Never accepted by either societies, cambions invariably grow up bitter and twisted.

Cambions excel in luring mortals to the Abyss, the only demons better at it are succubi. They then warn demons of the mortals' approach and let them do what they do best so the souls can be turned into larvae or manes.

Hell's Army and It's Ranks

  • Horsemen- The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in the last book of the New Testament of the Bible, called the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ to Saint John the Evangelist at 6:1-8. The chapter tells of a "'book', or 'scroll', in God's right hand that is sealed with seven seals". The Lamb of God, or Lion of Judah (Jesus Christ), opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons four beings that ride out on white, red, black, and pale horses. Although some interpretations differ, in most accounts, the four riders are seen as symbolizing Conquest, War, Famine, and Death, respectively. The Christian apocalyptic vision is that the four horsemen are to set a divine apocalypse upon the world as harbingers of the Last Judgment.

However, these horsemen are far more sinister. They're the leading forces of Hell's Army and once the final horseman rides, Hell's Army shall be unleashed upon the world to drag the wicked into the depths of Hell.

  • General- An officer of high military rank who command lower ranking officers of the army.

  • Colonel- 'Colonel' is usually the highest or second-highest field rank, and is below the general ranks.

  • Captain- An officer of high rank, above a commander, or a military officer of middle rank, above a lieutenant. A captain is the person in charge of a ship or aircraft. However, in this particular case, it would be those in charge of the beasts and abominations.

  • Lieutenant- An officer who acts in place of or represents a General or Colonel.

Legions

Legions are numerous demons, ranging from the weakest to the strongest like a paramilitary unit, possessing a human or even visible outside of the human body. They are structured to attack the possessed in part to wear them down.
