Spiritualists

Spiritualists hold a belief that spirits of the dead have both the ability and the inclination to communicate with the living. The afterlife, or "spirit world", is seen by Spiritualists, not as a static place, but as one in which spirits continue to evolve. These two beliefs: that contact with spirits is possible, and that spirits are more advanced than humans, leads Spiritualists to a third belief, that spirits are capable of providing useful knowledge about moral and ethical issues, as well as about the nature of God. Thus, many Spiritualists will speak of their spirit guides — specific spirits, often contacted, who are relied upon for spiritual guidance. Spiritism, a branch of Spiritualism developed by Allan Kardec and today found mostly in Continental Europe and Latin America, especially Brazil, has emphasised reincarnation.

Types of Spiritualists

Monk- Typically a man who practices religious asceticism, living either alone or with any number of other monks. A monk may be a person who decided to dedicate his life to serving all other living beings, or to be an ascetic who voluntarily chooses to leave mainstream society and live his life in prayer and contemplation. The concept is ancient and can be seen in many religions and in philosophy.

Priest- A man authorized to perform the sacred rituals of a religion, especially as a mediatory agent between humans and one or more deities. They also have the authority or power to administer religious rites; in particular, rites of sacrifice to, and propitiation of, a deity or deities. Their office or position is the priesthood, a term which also may apply to such persons collectively.

Shinto Priest- The shinto priest is called a kannushi (神主?, lit. "Master of the kami"), originally pronounced kamunushi, sometimes referred to as a shinshoku (神職?). A Kannushi is the person responsible for the maintenance of a Shinto shrine, or jinja, purificatory rites, and for leading worship and veneration of a certain kami. Additionally, priests are aided by miko (巫女?, "shrine maidens") for many rites as a kind of shaman or medium. The maidens may either be family members in training, apprentices, or local volunteers.

Saiin were female relatives of the Japanese emperor (termed saiō) who served as High Priestesses in Kamo Shrine. Saiō also served at Ise Shrine. Saiin priestesses usually were elected from royalty. In principle, Saiin remained unmarried, but there were exceptions. Some Saiin became consorts of the emperor, called Nyōgo in Japanese. The Saiin order of priestesses existed throughout the Heian and Kamakura periods.

Shinto Miko- A miko (巫女) is a Shinto term of Japan, indicating a shrine (jinja) maiden or a supplementary priestess who was once likely seen as a shaman but in modern Japanese culture is understood to be an institutionalized role in daily shrine life, trained to perform tasks, ranging from sacred cleansing to performing the Kagura, a sacred dance.

The Miko draws power from one of the five pure elements. The spirits of that element assist her in purging the dark spirits or sending on lost ones but once drawn upon for example a tree spirit she must let it rest at least half a day or the power won't be there to call upon when needed again.

Psychic Mediums- Persons who claim to be able communicate with the spirits of dead people. They are usually clever charlatans who will take your money to tell you what you want to hear and make you dependent on their advice so that you will keep going back. There are people who actually believe that they have powers to perceive paranormal phenomena, but none have been able to demonstrate such powers when tested under controlled laboratory conditions.

Ghost Hunters- Paranormal investigators who investigate places that are reported to be haunted. An American paranormal reality television series called "Ghost Hunters" premiered in 2004. The investigators use various types of electronic equipment which they believe can detect paranormal activity. To lend credibility to their investigations, the team tries to look for reasonable explanations for things such as "cold spots", "strange noises", "moving objects", and "phantom lights".

PK Users- While these individuals are not often aware of the Psychic abilities, there are some known cases of PK users who are aware of their abilities who team up with Ghost Hunting teams or other types of investigators to help them by lending their abilities to help in situations that require a different type of PK user for each job. It's not uncommon for more than one PK user to be involved in a Ghost hunting or Ghost exorcising team.

PK

Psychokinesis (from Greek ψυχή "mind" + κίνησις "movement"), or telekinesis (from τῆλε "far off" + κίνησις "movement"), is an alleged psychic ability allowing a person to influence a physical system without physical interaction. Psychokinesis and telekinesis are sometimes abbreviated as PK and TK respectively. Examples of psychokinesis include moving an object and levitation. There is no conclusive evidence that psychokinesis is a real phenomenon.

Psychokinesis experiments have historically been criticized for lack of proper controls and repeatability. Furthermore, some experiments have created illusions of psychokinesis where none exists, and these illusions depend, to an extent, on the subject's prior belief in psychokinesis.

PK System

Hunter's typically break down Telekinetic into three categories. P.K-S.T, P.K.-M.T. and P.K.-L.T.

Psyco-kinetic Static Transmission- The ability of the user to affect stationary, nonliving targets.

Psyco-kinetic Movement Transmission- The ability of the user to affect moving, nonliving targets.

Psyco-kinetic lift transmission- the ability of the user to affect living targets.

Types of PK

Aerokinesis- The ability to manipulate matter in it's gas form.

Chronokinesis- the ability to control one's perception of time and maybe time itself through the mind.

Cryokinesis- The elemental ability to slow down the movement of particles/atoms in matter to alter temperature, possibly to the point of freezing an object completely.

Electrokinesis- The ability to manipulate energy at a atomic level. Electrokinesis and Magnetokinesis are almost identical.

Geokinesis- The ability to manipulate matter in it's solid form.

Hydrokinesis- The ability to manipulate matter in it's liquid form.

Magnetokinesis- The ability to manipulate magnetic fields. Electrokinesis and Magnetokinesis are almost identical.

Photokinesis- The ability to control light-waves. Subcategory of magneto/electro kinesis.

Pyrokinesis- The ability to manipulate matter in it's plasma form. Not just fire.

Technokinesis- The ability to control to control and/or manipulate machines.

Telekinesis- The ability to move objects with your mind. Often used interchangeably with the term psychokinesis, however psychokinesis is actually the umbrella term under which all the various "kinesises" resides.
- Levitation- The ability to cause objects or ones own body to hover above the ground without the use of any type of lifting mechanism.

Tychokinesis- The ability to mentally and alter stochastic fields, which affect the chance of one event or another, thus generating good or bad luck.

Umbrakinesis- The ability to control light to create shadow. Subcategory of photokinesis.

6th Sense PK Types

Astral Projection- Removing one's spirit form from the body and traveling to another location.

Aura Reading- The ability to see/feel the energy field that surrounds all living things.

Automatic Writing- The ability to allow the subconscious mind to communicate via direct control of a writing instrument held in the hand.

Channeling- The ability to allow other being to communicate via your voice.

Clairaudience- Any type of "knowing" that involved the hearing, without physically hearing. In other words, the subject(s) involved in creating the sounds could be on the other side of the earth from the person "hearing" the communication.

Clairvoyance- The abilities to see the unseeable. Can involve seeing the past, present or future events.

Clairsentience- A "knowing" of hidden events. Can involved "knowing" past, present or future events.

Divination- An umbrella term under which all types of "knowing" past, present or future events are housed.

Dowsing- The use of pendulums, rods or sticks to locate water or lost objects.

Empathy- The ability to sense or feel the emotions and needs of others.

E.S.P.- Often used as an umbrella term to cover many forms of psychic abilities.

Intuition- A "knowing" of hidden events, often used interchangeably with the term clairsentience.

Precognition- The ability to know the future if those involved stay upon the path they are currently on. It should be noted that the future is not static. Changes can be made today that will change the future that has been forseen.

Psychometry- The ability to sense, read or interpret the energy signal left on an item by someone that has dealt with the item in the past.

Telepathy- Often called mind reading. Can be one person reading another's mind or mind to mind communication between two people.
